We are excited to introduce the Down Ventile Parka - our most ambitious and EPIC piece of outerwear to date. This full-length parka has an exterior shell of weatherproof Ventile cotton, a performance fabric that goes back to the Second World War. The interior is ethically sourced, 750 fill power down insulation, which will keep you nice and warm in the most bitter cold of winter. The storm cuffs and the adjustable pulls on the hood and interior allow the user to fully seal the garment in extreme weather.

The MaterialsVentile fabric is woven in Switzerland from American grown and spun extra long staple (ELS) Supima cotton, and the tightness of the weave makes it totally water repellent. There is an additional DWR coating on the fabric - a modern twist that increases surface tension (beading effect) but does not inhibit breathability. Ventile's origin started in the UK in 1943 and was originally developed in WWII to use as flight suits for British pilots to survive North Atlantic seas. The FactoryThis piece of outerwear was proudly produced in collaboration with Better Team USA. Founded by Horacio Di Battista in 2014, Better Team sits twenty minutes outside of New York City in northern NJ, in a bright and modern 16,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility specializing in luxury outerwear. Horacio Di Battista's decades of experience started at a young age working in his father's apparel factory in New York City. He eventually expanded his own business to include factories abroad and his extensive experience with the production of luxury outerwear guides all aspects of the operation. Better Team represents a new movement in United States apparel manufacturing - forward looking, energetic, and focused on being a leader in the production of technical and luxury outerwear.
